1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using TenantWallet, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TenantWallet is a self-screening platform that allows renters to obtain a certified credit and background report and securely share it with prospective landlords via time-limited links or QR codes.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States. You must provide accurate identity information including full name, date of birth, address history, and Social Security Number for verification.
4. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining account security and biometric credentials. Do not share credentials. You may enable biometric authentication to secure your Report.
5. Payments
$29 one-time report fee. $2/month auto-refresh subscription. Payments processed by Stripe. Subscriptions cancelable anytime. Refunds available within 30 days if Report cannot be generated due to system error.
6. Permissible Use
Use only for your own personal rental screening. Do not screen others without consent, use for employment/credit/insurance decisions, resell Reports, or access other users' data.
7. Report Accuracy & Disputes
Reports are from third-party providers. Dispute inaccurate info within 30 days. Disputes forwarded to data provider under FCRA requirements.
8. Landlord Sharing
You control sharing. Links expire after 48 hours. Revoke anytime. TenantWallet not responsible for landlord decisions based on your Report.
9. Data Retention
Report retained while account is active. Account deletion permanently removes data within 30 days. SSN never displayed in full or shared with landlords.
10. Limitation of Liability
Service provided 'as is.' Not liable for landlord decisions, data inaccuracies, service interruptions, or indirect damages.
11. Governing Law
Governed by Colorado state law.
